Engineering

These are not Engineer stamped plans. (will offer stamped plans soon) If required by local codes, engineered plans have to be specific to your location.  These plans have been engineered for a location with a snow load of 20psf, a wind load of 115mph and frost line of 24in.

These plans are suitable for any location with snow and wind load at or lower than ours. 

If you live in an area with higher snow and/or wind load, you will need to have these plans redlined by an engineer who will likely increase post sizes, hole sizes, and truss specs.  Redlining plans are much cheaper than having them drawn, they simply tweak these plans to fit the requirements.

The Cutless Method was designed to be built with only two sets of hands. We do this by utilizing equipment but don't worry, the machines we use can be rented from your local equipment rental.
